“The Late Show” was not just a platform for Democrats under Stephen Colbert’s mandate, he was also one for journalists and left -wing hosts.
The Fox News Digital has counted at least 200 episodes of “The Late Show” presented by members of the liberal media.
The left show policy has faced consideration after CBS announced last week that it was pulling out the plug into the program of Colbert, which will officially end in May 2026.
According to IMDB search results, CNN’s anchor and correspondent “60 minutes” Anderson Cooper holds the record with 20 official appearances invited to The Late Show.
Cooper showed his support for Colbert on Monday in a Cameo appearance as part of a Gag audience mocking parent company CBS Paramount and President Donald Trump.
Journalists and other hosts who were great guests “Late Show” included CNN Jake Tapper’s anchor with 12 appearances, “Pod Save America” Obama Bros with 11, Chris Hayes to MSNBC with 10 MSNBC and “The View” Co-Host Whop Goldberg with IMDB.
Colbert often wrapped the red carpet for his CBS colleagues in sharing news for cross promotion.
John Dickerson has raised 19 appearances, Gayle King scored 14, Norah O’Donnell has six, and Margaret Brennan has three.
Sometimes, CBS hosts made common appearances, like King with her “CBS Morning” colleagues.
Similarly, John Heilemann and Alex Wagner, prominent MSNBC analysts, both made at least ten appearances, thanks to their stints waiting for political documents “The Circus” that aired in the show, a sister network under the Paramount umbrella.
Late CBS host welcomed liberal journalists from rival broadcasting networks such as George Stephanopoulos of ABC and Jonathan Karl as well as Savannah Guthrie of NBC, Craig Melvin and Jacob Soboroff.
CNN and MSNBC hosts, who both bowed to anti-trump politics throughout Colbert’s race, were regulations at Ed Sullivan theater.
Morning Joe co-perpetrators Joe Scarborough and Mika Brazinski have made four joint appearances, as well as Joy Reid before resting from MSNBC earlier this year.
Nicolle Wallace, Jen Psaki and Lawrence O’Donnell from MSNBC and Christian Amanpour and CNN International have made each three appearances.
Other stars of CNN and MSNBC, past and present, who have joined Colbert over the years include Brian Stelter, Jim Acosta, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo, Katy Tur, Ari Melber, Kaitlan Collins, Abby Philip, Laura Coates, Van Jones, Audie Cornish, Jimi Cornish Matthews.

Liberals are angry about Colbert’s shocking cancellation.
Many, including Jon Stewart, believe the mass was intended to Kowtow at Trump and not because of the finances of the show as CBS claimed.
But Colbert’s show is reportedly losing $ 40 million CBS a year and that she had been running with a dense $ 100 million in season.
As the liberal hosts of the late night are fighting, Fox News Channel “Gutfeld!” On average 3.1 million viewers by July 20, compared to 1.9 million for the “Late Show” at the output of CBS.
