Vineyards: Explore the prestigious region of Spain’s priority from this high design hotel

As a strong red bottle from the province of Spain’s terragona, Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno is known for its unique and high quality character.

The fascinating five -star withdrawal is located on a historic property in the priorities, the broken and untouched wine region of Catalonia. The land has an impressive vintage – it was donated by Cartusian monks to the Bruno family named in 1797 – and a picturesque place. Just two hours from car by car, it’s perfect for a weekend departure from the city; a celebration of walking, rock climbing or e-bike in the near Nature Park Serra de Montsant (Grand Canyon of Spain); or a VinICulture tour in local wineries.

Stein fired Asthet Barcelona-based Asthet Studio to transform the interior of the 18th-century farm house and atelier into a high shelter with modern equipment. 24 Lisin-bound suites between two buildings-decorated with ground colors and designated with curved furniture, many of them with custom. Eachdo spacious guest room features panoramic vineyards, beam ceilings, a very comfortable king -size bed lined with Egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious red marble baths with stained bath and special rain showers. Most have two -sided fireplaces and private terraces or patios to give birth and drink local wines from the minibar.

The usual spaces are just as elegant. Look closely at the walls, after the original work by Marc Chagall, David Hockney, Frank Stella, Christo and other artists are hanging. A “grape” light match of the glossy glass from Stein and Asthet illuminates a ladder.

The main activity in the country is relaxing. This means taking a diving into the wonderful pool of outdoor infinity 98 meters, enjoying a test in the new spectacular wine basement or not to be released in the stone wall. Built in the former summer and olive mill, the latter has a sauna and water circuit with a lit pool, jacuzzi, hammam, hot and cold showers. Facial and body treatments using Beauty foosh-a new eco-correction brand made of by-products grapes-or Natura bissé are available in two treatment rooms.

To take further away, guests can rent e-Bikes from the hotel (35 dollars for four hours with helmet and blocking) or a Mini Cooper Electric (80 dollars for a day and a half) and explore surrounding cities like Siurana, a Charming Cliffftop village with the ruins of an Arab Castusian Castle, Escaladei. The hotel will also create bike tours with certified guides, helicopter tournaments and other experiences. And of course there are dozens of wineries in the region to book, including Clos de l’On and ATAVUS.

After all that appearance, it’s time to enjoy a great meal. Summer pairing dinners here is worth stopping a diet – and not just for one night, but for the duration of a stay.

During the day, Tarraco serves a colorful Mediterranean fee with a Pool of Catalan touch, probably accompanied by a refreshing cocktail by Bruno’s Bar. At night, Vinum is where it is. The restaurant was poisoned by Josep Querahalt, the talented 29-year-old Catalan chef who trained in five stars of Michelin, Spain, including Cambrils’ Can Bosch and El Celler de Can Roca to Girona. His three enjoyment menus and options à la Carte celebrate the heritage of the cuisine of Catalonia.

This year, Catalonia was appointed in the world region of gastronomy by the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism. To celebrate the honor, the created Quaral sent Sovie, a special tasting menu inspired by the medieval cooking book of the area.

Its Vinum menu includes creative fragrance dishes like Wild Ock Civet from priorities with Romesco and home -made brioche, complemented by the winning awards wines from the terragona chosen by head Sommelier.

While food and summer connoisseurs want to say, what grows together goes together.
